Cafe with restaurant behind, so drinks and food with a lakeside view. Free parking. Walks around part of the lake. Perfect for an early evening drink. We just had coffee so I can't comment on the food.
It's a lovely place, coffee and tiffin were fab. Lovely staff service with a smile. They now do hot dishes too. And the bacon egg roll was outstanding. Fabulous sourdough role, light and fluffy with great tasty bacon and lovely egg. All wrapped in Paper. All food and drink is served in paper / card board so fully recyclable. Really good to see.
Just had fantastic Lebanese mezze at RoxBox. Tom is a great chef and went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The hummus was so good, we'll definitely be back for more. Highly recommended.
Beautiful little cafe on the waterfront with some amazing food on offer. The staff were lovely and helpful too! There are around 7 small tables inside and a few more on the balcony over the water outside. Whilst we went on a rainy day, it was still a picturesque place for a bit of lunch!
Beautiful views across the lake. Very friendly staff and drinks were nice and reasonably priced. Is a great place to stop on a walk and grab a coffee and soak up the mid afternoon sun.
We had a delicious vegan breakfast here for an incredibly reasonable price. The breakfast included seitan, mushrooms, beans, tomatoes, hash browns, toast and sausages, all of which tasted fantastic. The portion was very generous and kept us going until dinner time! We also enjoyed an oat milk coffee and hot chocolate. The staff were really welcoming and friendly. Our table overlooked the lake, and we loved the festive vibe!
Beautiful little cafe on the water edge of a lovely lake. I stayed at the hotel just 5 mins walk away and came here for a coffee and a little bite 2 times during my stay. Service was great with one of the young servers even recommending me a blonde to try when I couldn't decide. The first day I sat where inside. It was cosy and warm. On my second visit I enjoyed my coffee on the balcony overlooking the lake.
We had such a lovely Mothers’ Day lunch at the Lodge - after a brilliant paddle board session. We chose the venue because it was convenient - but from the moment we walked through the door we were made to feel so welcome, the food was excellent and the service spot on. It was great that we could choose from the usual menu (breakfasts, burgers or other delicious snacks) or the Sunday lunch menu. We’d come back just for the food, whether we’d enjoyed water sports beforehand - such a great find, we’ll be back!
